What is this Throttle Safety Switch??

I keep hearing about this mystery throttle safety switch that can cause cut out problems. Are they simply talking about what most would call the kill switch or button? I find no other switch on the right handlebar othet than the kill button. I see no switch labled in the wiring diagram in that area other than the kill button either.

If you look closely at your throttle, it moves forward a little towards your bars. This is you throttle safety switch. If you hold it in place and try to give it throttle it will kill the motor.

On the bars, in tight with the bar, look between the flipper and the throttle block and you will see a little plastic pin. This is it.

When you let go of the throttle the pin comes out and when you give it throttle the pin goes in.

With the mighty pull of the massive 900 throttle bodies...the throttle (flipper) pin hole
can oval..thus creating a hap hazard interaction of switches one off idle and i believe one for higher engagement reference..
