What is this and why do I keep getting it?

Every time I get on Snowest this morning I have gotten this file to pop up.

I leave the site and go surf around and no problems. I come back and get hit with this.

Im getting it too......It just say the sire is trying to download a file though. I dont actually see that popup.

From what we can tell the error came from FACEBOOK.
They made a change to their code sometime last night, and that triggered the error you were seeing.

I was going to suggest that people make sure they have proper virus and spyware protection.

I have seen infected computers try and redirect and install software even when accessing normal/regular websites.

There used to be a facebook link on the forum page and a thumbs up icon??

They are gone now.

There was an embedded block of code they provided to us that allowed our members to tag a post from SnoWest and have it appear on their personal Facebook pages. Thus their code was running in the background on every page of the forums.

day before yesterday, Facebook changed the code in that internal link without making any announcement. The problem we had was duplicated on thousands of other sites around the world. Once we started looking we found other Admins complaining of exactly the same thing occurring on their forums and we were able to remove the code, pending a correction from FaceBook.
