i know the last 3 are 233, all i ask for is the 233 belt and the dealer knows what i am talking about
I believe the 233 is the racing belt currently in stock,the new wider belt rumored is not out yet.

Think the belt # is 253. That is the racing belt I think. Blew a few 166's changed to the 253 all is good.

Yep, use the 253. and add 2-3 grams to your pin weight, you will be golden. No need to re-gear.

Been using the 166 belt and have had no problems but maybe i'll try the 253.....
btw- i added just shy of 4 grams to the pins and she's tit$!!!

I'm runnin 20g weights, and the 253, and it rocks. Not alot of top end, but it pulls & pulls. Very happy with it right now. Only 230 miles, but the belt still looks brand new, with very little dust in the clutches.
Dealer has no 253 belts yet but they are waiting for the new belt. He says it about 1mm wider the the 166.

I tried to order a 253 belt, they told me that it has been updated and is now the 288. I've had it on for one ride so far (25 miles) and it made a big difference in clutch temp and pulls hard. no cords or dust. 288 belt is 1/16" wider than the 166, and is $197 retail from Doo (got a deal on it)
