We are having some trivia contest at work and I want to win a new tent so I can take it camping over Memorial Day.

The one question I haven't answered is "What is the most commonly mispronounced word in the English language?"

I've been searching Google and Yahoo, but can't find the number one. Anyone know for sure?? Help me out here.....

no idea, I'd gues picture, as in taking a picture. Many will say we are taking a pitcher.

Let us know

Go walk through the isles of the local Wal-Mart and you'll hear nearly every word being brutalized.:face-icon-small-win

Ask (aks)
Cavalry (calvary)
Candidate (cannidate)
Course (cource)
February (febuary)
Wash (warsh)

pronunciation (pronounciation - wrong)

Just as "misspelling" is among the most commonly misspelled words, "pronunciation" is among the most commonly mispronounced words.
