What is the difference between the M ski’s and the HCR ski’s?

What is the difference between the M ski’s and the HCR ski’s?

Are the HCR ski’s the same width? Deeper Keel? I need a new pair of ski’s for the m sled and don’t want to pay a lot for aftermarket ski’s. The bank is tapped out this year. Thanks

I know the keel is alot deeper, but don't about width. They were a real pain on the trail and hard pack.

I've owned both.........The HCR ski is about .025 narrower than the M ski. The keel is deeper on the HCR ski. The M ski has a longer heel than the HCR. The tip of the M ski is taller. I had a set of HCR skis on my C/F and they were an all around improvement "BUT" I personally like the M ski better than the HCR. Better float on the M ski. JMO

I installed HCR skis on my M this season. Primary diff is a deeper keel. They are the same width as my stock M skis. Mold is a bit different on top. I think they are a bit stiffer.

I really like the deeper keel. Much less that aftermarket skis.
