belts

Ultimax- Great deal compared to buying a factory belt. Another good one is a Gates Kevlar belt. The Gates belts are about 1/2 the price of a factory belt at a dealership.

I've tried all three Ultimax, Gates, and stock. Stock is, by far, the best. I've noticed a few RPM drop with the Ultimax belt. The aftermarket is cheaper but I can get a stock belt to last the entire season, so a no brain'r for me.

brp 377. Running one on my rk tek 827. 04 highmark 159. Great holeshot, and full shiftout. Still looks new. Floated the secondary. I hear there is another belt a little cheaper from Doo, same dimensions harder compound, #383.

Stock doo belt. Can get 2 to 3 seasons out of one belt. Ride back country and love pulling big hills.

Stock 06...BRP 377, if your clutchs are dialed in it will make the season , 800 - 1000 miles. I never have had one blow, they still look good but a new belt after that many miles makes a differance. Dino

i like the ultimax stock to i have been riding it i montan for 3 year in my 03 800 and they lasted that l;ong.
