What is Hawkfest's riding area P-Lot elevation ???

Hey Utah locals : What's the parking lot elevation of where we're gonna be riding saturday and sunday ?

I've heard 5K and 7K. I need to know in order to throw my "best bet of jets" in there TONIGHT ! Leaving tomorrow after work !

Also, is snow dry or wet in this area these days ?

I'm not sure exactly where up Logan canyon we are going to be riding but I would plan for 8k to 10k riding elevation. From what I've heard the snow is pretty dry. I haven't been out so I don't know for sure.

will burn that 800 right up!

Just don't drop your jets in the snow like you did two years ago at Baker!
You had to put the big ones back in and blubber around baker If I remember right:

On google maps looks like 6500'-7000' depending on which trail head.

Yeah that freakin sucked... wasn't my best luck day so far as that same day I exploded my stock silencer cauz too much unburnt gas was in the exhaust and all of a sudden, lit, then it exploded (cracked) my can !!! Crappy throttle response and sound from there on to the trailer...

I missread your post, sorry. The parking Lot is going to be about 7k like 007_hawk said. Sorry for the bad info. But we will be riding between 7k and as high as 10k. Look forward to seeing you there.

p.s. I will be the guy on the rental hawk with powder special with a custom flame job on the hood following me around.
