I'm happy with the amount of light I get from the stock lamp. The trouble is they only last for a maximum of 45 minutes. Does anybody know of a replacement bulb that is better? Hopefully just plugs in without any rewiring. LED would be nice, but anything is better than the stock one.

Cyclops for sure. Not that expensive, way better light, way less power draw.
I tried one of the halogen bulbs from sicass racing. It was a little brighter (45w/40w) and fit in the stock housing, but it didn't last very long either. I think I got less than 10 hrs out of it. I don't think I'd bother with one again.
