depends on what kind of snow you ride.
the wet and heavy we have here, the 44-40 works the best on that sled.

depends on spring, too. For stock white, I liked 44-40 best, with lots of preload. For now I'm still running a 38, with a goodwin blue. Some of the guys over on HCS run some crazy stuff, with truck springs.
