I am curious what you guys have done to your 6.4's to make them run. I know this is not a Diesel site but most of those sites don't let you talk about the chit that works!!

So I have a JOB 1 with 15K miles one it and I get 5.5 towing and 8/9 empty. This is hand calculated fuel in the neck of the fill tube very time. I am runing 6 inches of lift and 37x13.50x20 tires. I have a heavy foot so alot of the MPG thing self inflicted. I ran a Bully Dog and a an EDge box and today I am taking the plunge. I am deleting my CAT and the DPF. Has anyone else done this???

My truck would regen as many as 4 times on one tank of fuel. So I know my MPG is going to leap up I just hope I get lower EGT's while towing.

Just thought I would see if anyone else is trying to make these trucks run.

please don't tell me I should have bought a dodge or a chevy or tundra I am just wanting to hear from guys who have done this to their DPF equiped trucks even if it is a dodge or chevy.

Let the snow cometh:)

View attachment 34302July 11 023.jpgI have gone with the edge product, evelution (sp) air intake and 4" exhaust, cat back only. On the extreme set up i will re gen prob 4x per tank and that kicks the fuel way down, i usually run in tow setting and re gen 1 per 2 tanks at 70mph. towing i get about 14mpg at 60 mph, empty on tow i average 22-24mpg, at 60, on extreme empty i have gotten as high as 31mpg at 60. 60 is the best mpg on my truck, anything over i drop about 3-4 mpg. I was advised only cat back for exhuast tho.... left the stock tip on tho, kinda fun, 0-60 6.69secs

Just got to noticing in your pic:

How come your speedometer is primarily Kilometers/hr and your info screen is still in Miles???

Wouldn't they be calibrated the same?:confused:

Sorry to get off topic, just got me curious:beer;

Sledhead, are those US gallons or Imperial gallons? Hand calculated or via the electronics? Those are really good numbers.

The only way we've seen people touch 20's empty was with the DPF delete.

I work at a ford dealer

And when you take that exhaust off you just throw away your warranty.

My friend did dual exhaust and and dpf delete etc from sct and claims way better milage and power.But I think warrenty is deleted too.

Nice truck, I've seen it around :)

If you see me, give me a wave!
