What has changed on the Mountain Horse kits year to year?

If I am buying a Mountain Horse kit, do I need to buy a brand new one? If not, what year should I look for? What has changed over the years on the kits?

Are there any planned changes anyone knows of for 2015?

Yes, there have been some great changes. The 2014 is night and day better than the 2011!
