So what happened to the "Gizmo or not to Gizmo thread that was here until early this morning?

It is even more interesting on how the thread just disappeared after some one posted the questionable business practices of Outlaw and how he and his business partner screwed over the orignal designer of the Gizmo product who was also the owner of Red Neck racing.

As it was quoted Outlaw and his partners stole the design from Red Neck where they use to work and now they sells it under the name of Most Wanted Performance. Even though in the past I had thought Outlaw was a quality guy and appeared very knowledgable but now with understanding how he has operated I can not offer him any support with his hood kit or the gizmo.

I hope Outlaw replies to this post and if he has any documentation to show us that the information is false or if he would like to explain his side of the story.

The moderators have been discussing "bashing" vs "informational posts"....and the fine line between them.

No decisions have been made yet, but if the thread is put back in public view...we'll let you know.

Wow that was a first having my post deleted. Maybe we should have a debate thread so when this happen they can be put in their and let them duke it out. That way it would not ruin some good information .
Personally I just try and skip over the drama and move on. Judge Judy Judge Judy

Uh-oh spaghetti-o's...

Agree with Eric...."Stole" is a very harsh word. Would "copy" have been a better choice of words?

I Don't know but I do know that personal and behind the scenes business operations have no place on a public forum.

Ethic's, moral's, integrity, respect....I wish they mattered and were adhered to much more than they are in this world.

I hope that the Powers that be see fit to let the previous thread about the gizmo to be resumed since it still provides information about the gizmo and it gives information about the the guy who states that it works, markets, & sells it here on the forum should also be subject to being critiqued if he has been unethical in the products that he represents in any way since it may be relevant for standing behind his products or even knowing if the test results are factual.

Why not let Outlaw provide his own side of the story instead of just censoring it from other forum members. MH yes I agree the word stole is strong but by sweeping this under the rug it looks like Outlaw is being protected and if he has been a paid advertiser this makes it look worse.

Just so everybody is very clear. The Prototype (Gizmo) was developed by Trevor Eva, Alan Murdock and Tyler Doucette. The first prototypes were built at Trevor's personal shop and tested on Tylers personal sled at the direction of Alan who has been a Polaris tech for 40 years.
And so everybody is clear at the time Alan Murdock (40 year Polaris Tech)and Tyler Doucette ( 8 Year Polaris Tech) worked at Action Snowmobile in Jackson( Action Owner and BMX Rider). Trevor Eva Did not work for Action. Once we had completed the testing and decided to sell kits to the public it was decided that we would verbally grant the right to produce and sell the product thru what was supposed to be an already set up company, Redneck Racing. Come to find out Redneck had been administratively dissolved years before, We were not aware of this. We were all owners of Redneck Racing. As the Owner Of Action had promised to provide the capital thru his shop he was given 40% of Redneck Racing. After the Owner of Action had been paid back his investment he continued to take funds from Redneck when ever he felt and left the company with no money to replace the Prototype(Gizmo) kits that had melted.
As we owned the Patent and could not stop the owner of Action from Removing funds from the account we Revoked the right to Produce or sell the product from Redneck Racing. Trevor personally invested over $100,000 to Patent the Performance Enhancement Kit and have new molds and thermostats built and to replace all of the Prototype (Gizmo) kits free of charge that had been sold thru Redneck Racing. The owner of Action took the three of us to Court and tried to get an injunction against us. He was not successful. The Judge ruled on the side of Most Wanted Performance and its owners and stated The owner of Action had very little to do with the development of the kit and had Unclean Hands in the case. The Performance Enhancement Kit is Patented under the names of
Trevor Eva, Alan Murdock and Tyler Doucette.
Now that everybody is aware of the courts ruling and why we revoked the rights from RR I would hope this does not continue to drag on. We have gone on with development of new products and our shop in Jackson and will continue to do so.
Yes there is two sides to every story. Frankly we should not have to explain ourselves on a public thread. However we do need to set the facts strait.
Sorry to Snowest and all the snowest members for the Drama.

I would have to agree with you on that, Outlaw would more than likely come back and say "well the courts settled this argument" and some bull****.

But if you happened to "cache" or see the original post from the user "PowderHoundify" in the original gizmo thread before it was deleted, he seemed to have nailed the story right on the head behind the truth of the matter..

I actually work at Action Snowmobile & Polaris currently, for anyone who wants to hear a honest side. Just some more factual information to back up the original claims, Outlaw filled a No Trespassing ban against all of us who work at Action so we cannot go to "Most UN-Wanted Performance" after we went there and caught them in the act of purchasing brand new Polaris snowmobile's from another dealer with having the intent to sell them without the license to do so.. MWP's employee's WERE Polaris certified as of a year ago but currently none of them are, all Polaris dealer employee's had to update their licensing in August under a Polaris dealer website that is only available to Polaris certified dealers..

P.S. - This IS NOT drama or slander, the TRUTH sometimes hurts.

Speaking on behalf of myself; I do not get into online forums such as this, but have heard what has been said and had to voice my opinion on the matter.. It's embarrassing that SnoWest has to hide this information from it's users..

I'm not taking sides here and I dont have a clue who is right in this he said she said bs but at least outlaw isn't posting under multiple aliases. Grow a set of big boy balls and confront him under your real name instead of hiding.

and Since Sept 1 2012 Parts counter at Action Polaris in Jackson.
You would think that since this all transpired over the last 4 years and he did not live in Jackson or know anything about Action Polaris he would mind his own and find some respect. And yes I am loving My new 2013 it has been a great sled to display our aftermarket products on. As far as the other pre ordered Polaris sleds that were delivered to us at the customers request. They are loving them.

Deleting bashing statements that have no need to be on a public online forum. This is especialy wrong coming from someone who wasnt around to see any of this to begin with and who heard the story from someone else. So basically you are bashing on someone with second hand information, thats wrong.

I know Shaun King (Action Polaris Owner) and Trevor Eva (Most Wanted Performance owner) both very well and have know them both for years. this being an issue between Trevor and Shaun and leaves me or anyone else with no place to judge either one of them on this issue. Its THERE business and no one elses! a post like that only creates drama and in the end will only hurt business for Action Snowmobile in Jackson. Thats the last thing customers or potential customers want to hear or see on a forum is employees of a Polaris dealership bashing other businesses on a public forum. And being a representative of Polaris product i dont like to see this kind of slander from a Polaris dealership either, very unprofessional.

I don't have a dog in this fight. Didn't know any of these folks prior to this thread.

Here's what I do know.
1. If I have a problem with someone, I go see that person and we settle it. If I still have a problem, I'll tell my close Budd's to stear clear of the guy.
I won't send out my feelings to everyone on my Christmas mailing list.

2. The interaction I have had with Outlaw/MWP has all been proffesional, courtious and straight forward business. I received the parts I paid for in a very timely manner and in good condition.

3. No one with a differant opinion of MWP bothered to send me a PM stating thier points or warning me of what they perceived as poor business practice.

4. It's obvious that there are some folks with passion about this. I feel for anyone tha gets taken advantage of, the world is crappy enough without getting chit on by someone that you thought was on your side.
5. I don't see this as SW protecting anyone but it's subscribers. " it looks like Outlaw is being protected and if he has been a paid advertiser this makes it look worse ".
I'm not bashing anyone either, I'm going on fact, not speculation.

So I'm saying that I don't know anything about the conflict between Action and MWP, but I have seen the way it's been handled on SW and I agree with the mods, one side as whacking away and one side wasn't.

There is a differance between informing folks and inflaming issues.

Do you see what you started BeamSlayer ?!? You trouble maker !!

It is clear that some of the business practices mentioned above are not the most becoming and unfortunately we all have our own perception which is not always right on the money even if we believe it is.

I did not like some of the information provided about how Outlaw got started or how he got rights to the gizmo and then again he has since redesigned the product as previously described in his post and apparently won the lawsuit.

Obviously for everyone that has ever been involved with legal action at the court level you know that every one gets & feels hurt one way or another besides the outragous costs. With legal action things just tend to get carried away but you have to let it go after it is done and move on to be positive to succeed with out looking back.

Now I orignally started this post since I felt like all of the other forum members here on SW had a right to know about Outlaw after what was stated and I even picked up the ball and started to questions him since I have never been sold on the gizmo, and also for Outlaw to provide his own answer to the allegations made against him and he did reply with what appears to be factual and I respect him for doing so since this has clearly crossed into the none of our business category and if it is truly from a second party that makes this sort of like a mini witch hunt.

Even though I had the best intentions for this thread I do not feel like it has helped anyone here on the forum in a positive way. Hopefully it cleared the air a little bit and we can all move on. Outlaw, I am sorry for encouraging this feed back and as some of the moderators stated earlier in this post about the other thread being to worded to strongly that it may of crossed the line into the bashing catagory.

I think IdahoPowderHound said it best that this is going to possibly hurt both of the companies named and this seems like a dispute between the two and not true forum material any more. To Outlaw, all of the forum members who have read one of these threads, and the moderators please accept my apology about this thread since it did not work out the way I had expected.

How Long have you guys on this thread known me? I have been a paid member since 2007 and was a member before that. I have had many posts regarding building my Turboed with NOS 700, My 76 Fummins and others. I have responded to many threads with what I hoped was helpful advice, and when we started the Gizmo Project I answered all of the questions. Now take a look at when the folks that are bashing me and my company joined SW. Take a look around for helpful posts by them. This has gone on long enough. If folks think that because something was developed in a shop by its employees and a customer that that shop has rights to it they need to read more about patent law. At the most that shop could have shop rights if the owner would have been involved in the conception of the design. As the owner was not he has no shop rights. I have done my research. Due to the fact that he has done nothing but try to harm the reputation of two of the most respected Polaris techs in the valley and been trying to harm our company by posting these bashing threads or letting his employees run Most UNWanted stickers on there trucks and allowing his employees to come onto our property to take pictures of sleds that were delivered to us at the customers request then threaten to VOID there warranty because they purchased there sled from another dealer is Wrong in so many ways. Frankly Jackson is real tired of the BS and it will end. The worse thing about all of this is it never should have happened. Thanks to those that have known me and to those that do not I look forward to meeting you.
Regards
Trevor

44, it takes a big man to stand up and say he is sorry. I admire and respect you for that.

Outlaw, let it go. "Laws control the lesser man, right conduct controls the greater one". I don't know you, but as I stated above, my dealings/conversations with you have been upfront, informative and professional. Don't allow yourself to be drawn into poor behavior by those with nothing to loose, character is all that counts in the end.

Everyone else, can we get back to BS'ing about who's sled is gonna be the baddest out on the snow this year ?!?

MINE !!!!!

Ride On!!

And that's the position we have taken. We are not taking sides, we are protecting the users of SW who don't want to listen to this stuff. Do you know how many people have reported these posts or PM'd a moderator that said they don't want to hear it on here?

Thank you.
