We were in Silverton for Avy School, and it looked like the primary end of the crank either bent, or broke off. When he would pull it over, the fixing bolt head would wobble 3/4 inch. Did not look good.

Wow, not much to it at all...seeing that plus the mini slide on Cameron pass, real eye opener for sure. This season seems like ol mother nature just doesn't want us out there at all from the minimal snow to the avy conditions of recent... That bitch!

It was the level 1 class that mike Duffy offers. A must for anyone who rides in the mountains. Snow was ok, but not deep. After the storm, I am sure it's crazy.

So true. People think it needs to be a big slide to kill. NOT so. Amazing how deadly small slides can be.
