I have an 03 800 and just recently put a 155 2.4 track on it. I am running 7 tooth anti ratchet drivers i was wondering what would be the best gearing to run with this. Thanks

What gearing do you have in there right now? Do you have any gears or chains available or are you planing on buy new ones? what engine mods do you have? Pipe?

I have 21 41 gears and i have quite a few diff spares layin around. i have twin slp pipes reeds big air kit slp head. crank is welded and lightened

I think 21-40 would be the best over ratio all. However 21-41 gives you a 1.90 ratio your 155 track is a 2.86 pitch with 7 tooth drivers and your twin pipes should pull 8200 RMP that would put you at a top speed of 79.63 MPH which would be great for mountain riding. If you have a 40 gear lying around 21-40 gives a 1.95 ratio with top speed of 81.62 MPH which I think would be ideal, but if you don't have a 40 I wouldn't worrie about it's only 2 MPH difference

Sorry I just realized I had the wrong gears listed in my previous post I went back and edited it.

If you are looking for a little more top end you could also go 22-40 which is 1.82 ratio and 85.50 MPH or 22-39 1.77 ratio gives 87.69 MPH both will use the same 74 chain.

But like I said before for deep snow mountain riding I think the 21-40 or 21-41would be the best. (also both 74 chain)
