What gearing for 07 with 162 track & 7 tooth drivers?

2007 Summit 800 XRS. I am swapping from the stock 159 track to a 162 track with 7 tooth 3 pitch Avids. What gearing works best with this mod?

the 7 tooths reduce the ratio by 7.4%. you might be good to go

I have same set up on mine and tried diff gearing and went back to the stock gearing. you will be golden with that set up.

Your stock gearing should be 19/45 for the 159.

Gearing was previously lowered to 19/47 with the stock track, thought that might be too low with the reduced driver diameter. I'll go back to stock and see how it works. BTW new track is 2.5 lug CE.

You're going to really like that track. You'll need to do something in the back where the upper track idlers are, clearance will be tight up by the heat exchanger where the track goes over those idlers. Either smaller idlers or a small drop brcket works well.
