What exhaust is best?

I went with the slp pipe and mbrp can, gives it a little more sound, if you want the loudest sled put a hps can on it. Wasnt a huge difference with the pipe besides being more zippy. Alot of guys recommend just puttin a can on, hope that helps a little

Hog, so the HPS can was pretty snarly? Looking to get rid of he suitcase, but want it somewhat quiet on my '10 Dragon 8.
Perhaps SLP is the way to go?

Pipes & Cans

nathan_harms,

The Bikeman Performaance pipe mod or there pipe that has this mod does make the most power gain over any other pipe out there. If you care to look at any of the reports or dyno sheets from Jim at Dyno Tech Research who is a independent tester then slp or bikeman they did confirm this a few years ago.

Now on to the unfortuante news about exhaust cans on the CFI 800 Polaris. The only thing good about an aftermarket can with this motor is weight and maybe if you like it louder, as for more power it has never yet been confirmed on the dyno. The polaris can all though heavy has the magic free flowing enough trick with our being too free flowing that somehow has it working better then any after market exhaust can or product out there.

Feel free to look at the dyno thread below for your information:
