I have an 06 M7 that we mostly trail and boondock and a little bit of climbing would you recommend and does anypne have one for sale. I am looking for a ceramic coated I was told do not get a ceramic coated y pipe but a coated pipe and can. I want to stay with a single and do not want to go to a fuel controller if incan avoid it. I would really appriciate any help in this department. Thanks in advance. Jeff

M7 pipe

I ran 05 m7 for over 5000 miles with speedwerx pipe. You cannot go wrong with speedwerx, good look finding used one. The stock y pipe is fine on m7. I did not need fuel controller, but I ride at 10,000 and up. At this elevation plugs were right on the edge.

I have an 06 Crossfire 700 and I put a straightline performance pipe, ypipe and a sno stuff can with Vorce reeds and ported and polished only been able to ride across the back yard in the grass so far but wow huge diff. She rips.

I had a Bikeman single and a bikeman stock pipe mod on a couple M7's and a Speedwerx pipe on an F7, both very similar. If you ride below 5000 feet look into adding a y-pipe to the package, if you ride above that mark the stock y pipe is the best.

Aftermarket single pipes on the M7 make very little gains without some porting. I would look at a RKT head over a single pipe for a power upgrade. If you want to spend about 500 more than do the RKT porting with speedwerx pipe for a 10-15hp gain but pipe alone will only yield 4-5hp.

Single Pipe and Silencers do very little, if anything for that seld, some cans have been known to loose power over stock, Get your secondary right, you can get a lot of gain from a dialed in clutch on this sled. If i had 400 to spend on pipe, I would in turn spend that money on a head, RKT works well.
