What ever happened to the Monster CPC 1300 Turbo?

I understand this is the turbo forum but you bring up a good point.

Yes, what about the 1300 turbo BUT...........have not heard much about the CPC 1300 in any form quite frankly......

Anyone running one?

Thought you were building one in a Ti chassis?

I was looking at the possibility, until I heard of a possible 1540 bored and stroked out of a 1000?

Besides I don't think that CPC has all of the bugs worked out of it...CPC has been very silent on the 1300. I don't even know if will work under a boosted app.

If not the 1540 or the 1300, then I will probably go with a 1200 Turbo in the ti chassis. I have the stock 1000 motor, chassis and all the parts. I have got a lot of it put together. I just need the polaris 166 track and the KMOD Gen II suspension under it and the top Secret ECM that will be going on it and I could probably run it NA later on this season. But the Twisted Sisters can be rest assured, that the Ti sled will be a 1200 or bigger, with a big massive twin turbo set up...that will be looking for any Twisted sled that the Twisted Nation can through at it!!!;)

Hopefully CPC gets it figured out. I think the bigger, the better, the more air volume you can force through the motor.

I'll run it when you are ready and I only have a 1000. Hope its faster than your Apex killing M7

When did I say I had an apex killing M7? I know the M7 will hold its own in the deep snow with an apex.

BTW your 1000 looks like it runs pretty good in the video. Look forward to seeing it run sometime.

But instead of turning this into a bash can someone tell me if the CPC 1300 has been tested under a boosted application. I would consider trying this BB if there has been some seat time running it under boost.

radski - dude, may i suggest you update that vintage M7 to something made in the last 10 years before you ask questions in regard to new product?

baby steps son, baby steps:beer;

The ol M7 is definitely a vintage alright...However, it is so much fun beating up on all the new sleds with a vintage classic.:D

I have been debating on getting a newer updated sled, but I really don't know which way to go. I have rode both M8 and D8 pump gassers. I would like to try a D8 RGT to see how I like it in comparison to the M7. I know for sure that there hasn't been a TM8 or a TD8 beat my M7 yet on the hill or in a open drag...but I don't know if they had all there tuning/clutching correct.

I need to ride UT to see all the TM8 and TD8 and compare against the M7

For sure I will be riding a Ti 1200 or 1300 turbo with all the current updates. The chassis is going to go to KMOD to get all the holes drilled for the Gen II suspension sometime in the next couple of weeks

If I could get more info on the CPC 1300, to see how it runs boosted, then I may consider it...but there hasn't been any updated info on this BB.

I had 2 Turbo M7s. I have only been around SPS and BD Po Turbos and I have to say although the throttle response and bottom end is better I feel like my M7Ts would take them up top with 14lbs. If your M7T is running well I am not sure how much of an upgrade an M8 will be other than they are easier to tune, a little more reliable and newer. The D7/D8 turbos are really fun but if you like the M chassis they are not a huge upgrade although I hear Shain's D8 is a monster and I also really like Silber's kit. If you really want the power and can boondock with a big sled the TM1k, TM12k is loads of fun and mine has been bulletproof almost. Only let me down once when the weld for the exhaust probe blew out. They like belts but if you vent the heck out of them it is manageable. Twisted's kit is proven to make power and be very reliable but the Push stuff looks awesome. I would love to see a Push M1k run

You will like the KMOD suspension, best suspension I have had. I had the Gen I last season and have upgraded to the Gen II this season. Installed a couple for customers now, easy bolt on deal and Kevin has great customer service. Post some pics when you get your project started.

Also running the gen II KMOD this year and have to 2nd what Snowstar said. Great suspension with awsome ride and transfer. And I installed it (that is sayin something right there)

:)

I must be dreaming or something...are the Twisted Sisters actually being nice today???

I have a Gen 1 KMOD on the M7 now and it really likes to soak up the bumps. But that M7 is really running good with all of the new trick stuff I have put on it. I am having a really hard time with it wheeling, and if any of you know...KMODS suspensions don't wheelie...they have excellent ski pressure. My M7 skis are always 4-5 ft off the ground when climbing anything.

I will post pics of the Ti sled in progress once I have some time to get started on the project.

Kmod

I also have a Kmod on my Twisted M1000. The only complaint that I have is that i should have had it installed last year. No more wheelies unless I realy pull up hard on the bars while climbing. But I would also like to hear more on Dales 1300 Kit. Oh ya thanks Kevin at Kmod. Phone # 208-681-0348.
