hey guys..
this is the beginning of all my turbo questions..
i am going to be "slowly" building a turbo setup for my 06 rmk 900 166"
i will be using the Garret GT3071r-WG turbo (internal wastgate)
i am having a friend build my piping, and I need to get an exhaust flange for the downpipe.
So...what style do i use?
below is the turbo housing i will be using. Along with a few different styles of exhaust flanges..
is there ANY benefit from one of these over the other? better flow? will one style of them create more pressure then the other??
also....do you use a gasket for the flange to turbo housing?? is it steel or??
thanks so much guys...ill slowly be asking some things here and there when i get time.
this is the SAME turbo housing i will be using.
here is one that is open all the way.
here is one that is "divorced" with 2 different size holes.
here is one with a can, but it shows only 1 hole for the output.
here is a downpipe with a V=-Band adapter.
