what does the e start weigh in a xp?

Dont forget your a BIG guy...I wouldnt even consider it If I was you:eek: Just hit the key and ride......remember BIG!!:D

Better keep it. According to some guy with two 600 etec trail sleds on DT, ALL the recoils are failing. LOL. There's bolts Johnsie....take it off and weigh it.....you know you want to.

I REALLY do want to:D On the other hand i was in the doo shop the other day , said to the guys , " you look busy , what ya workin on" He said " recoils ". sj

Hey guys, Racewerx is about to release a lightweight battery kit for the XP's. We are doing final testing on it over New Years. It sheds about 12 pounds and also has a spot to put your tool pouch so you can ditch the plastic POS on the belt guard. I'll keep you guys posted.

23ish lbs.......put on a can loose 10lbs so say 13+ over stock. I always thought e-start was lame but it does come in handy occasionally. Awkward stucks, flooded, super cold, starting on decks, etc. I keep saying I am going to ditch it then the dam thing comes in handy.

Get a ~5lb 7s battery for it.
And deal with the extra 10-12 lbs of e start imo.
Velco it into place where ever...
Save another lb or so and pull the recoil off...gut it, and reinstall the plastic as a cover

Better than dealing w/ broken recoils...or pulling pulling pulling on a flooded sled.

Not that I have either issue anymore!! ;)
