What do you think of a husqvarna fc 450 for a sno bike.

Ok guys. I have been wanting to get into snow biking. I have a local guy who is selling a 2015 husky fc 450 like new and only 4 hours on it and bought last October 2015. Haven't even had the first oil change done. How good are the huskys. There reliability. Any problems. I have only heard of some air box problems with not breathing well. True or not? So all of you who ride the huskys pleas chime in and let me know your thoughts.

have a 2015 Husky FC 450 and it rock. air box isn't a issue because for TSS you have to cut it out and put aftermarket intake in.

I'm also setting up a husky for next winter. Doesn't relate to your project though I'm going to be attempting to use an SMR511 that fell in my lap. And I don't know what track kit will be best either. I'm lost in TS vs Yeti debates.

I used a 2015 FC 450 for my LT TS this season. It was a great bike. You will love it.

Not to jack your thread but I'm curious about the FC 350 or the FE 350? Im not a large guy and these have caught my eye

FC450? Yea, it's a great great bike. I like mine so much I'm going to run it for another season. The 16 Husky's are having problems with holding 2nd gear sometimes (I know some people with bikes that are down) but the 14/15 FC450 is rock solid.

I ran a 2014 Husaberg FE350 with a 2016 ST with TSS this season. It worked pretty good but was definitely a little down on power compared to the 450. The ST requires a lot of track speed in deep snow and the 350 was WOT a lot of the time! I could definitely see the benefit of going with a faster revving FC350 with a close ratio transmission vs the wide ratio in the FE.

If you already have a 350 I would run it....if you are buying a bike just for a snowbike I would probably go with the Husky FC450 or a KTM 450XCF.....
