What do you guys think? 800 acting up at elev,

My 05 800 motor keeps acting up when i go up over 4500' elevation. Sled runs like a champ up till that point then starts out having a dead spot in the throttle at about 1/3 open. then up higher when making pulls it just falls on its face all the time.
sled has ran great all the time up till now and nothing has been changed in the setup.
I've already checked the carbs and seals, comp test, leakdown, clutches etc.
I figure either the DPM or MPEM which do you think?

Just got through similar prob with my 03. I was sure it was DPM but checked everything I could with no clues. After searching and finding a post of a guy with same problem, I pulled the mag off and sure enough, same problem he had, mag had worn through stator wires part way. Funny symptoms only happened up high which just happened because thats when the motor was hotter and there must have been some metal expansion. When I changed plugs, things were good for 10 minutes. Must have cooled down some?

I'm hoping DPM as well crappy thing is i never seem to have enough time to fix it while at the hill then it doesn't do it back here where i live, seem like the last three trips where just chasing ghost aroound.
It doen't matter if i let the sled cool down, let it sit a the cabin for an hour went for a rip and it did it right away.
Hymark do you just disconnect it at the mpem?
Couldn't find an 05 in revy last weekend to swap with to rule out the mpem..

Does The Doo Have A Oiler Screw Adjustment? We Had The Same Sort Of Problem On A Kk Last Year, Rebuilt It And It Ran Really Strong Up To Around 3000 Feet It Would Just Start Runin All Funky, We Thought That We Took Out Another Top End. It Ended Up Being That When We Rebuilt Her The Oiler Screw Got Changed And It Was Just Running Really Rich.
Probably Not The Same... Good Luck.
