What do you do to summerize your sleds?

Just curious as to what steps everyone else takes when they put their sleds away for the SH*TTY months of the year AKA Summer

Look in the sub forums under Ski-doo. There is a recent thread on summerizing sleds. Should have all the info you need.

Important things:
Grease fittings:forces moisture out.
Flush/change chaincase/DD fluid:less chance of moisture sitting in case.
Put fuel stabil in fuel tank and fill tank full:Less air=less chance for moisture build up.
Run engine, let it get to operating temp, Fog engine while running with fogging oil, be sure you run it long enough to circulate fuel stabilizer. (use old spark plugs if possible)
If it has a battery, remove the battery, store in a dry area, and put on a battery tender or charge once a month.
I would also do a full service at the time, but that is me.
Avoid starting it during the summer unless you let the engine reach normal operating temp.
If you store it correctly there is no need to start it during the summer.
Be sure it is stored in a dry climate, and if you wash it, be sure it is 100% dry before you cover it.

start tearing it apart to fix all the stuff i broke over the winter....

...when it's all put together, it's hard for me to resist firing it up for a few minutes every week or two.

it doesn't hurt to plug the exhaust with something to keep the mice from making a nest just remember that you've done that

hahaha...no doubt, I have a corn stove in the shop and a guy gave me a pallet of seed corn last year. Mice got into bottom bags and on my first ride last fall I seeded half the main trail coming in. Should be a nice stand this spring of corn.:D
