I just picked up my 2010 m8 after owning a 07 and was wondering what weights you are all running and what rpms this new ho engine likes. All i have is some 73 gram weights of a 09 m8 just wondering if i should switch out the 68s for riding around 6000.
Thanks

Im trying 70's in mine for now. Most of our riding is from 3 to 6000 feet. It seems to like them better than the stock 68's, but I havent really looked at the tach to check the rev's.

65 to 75 set.

Won't need much more than 70 in the mountians on the '10.

IMO geo

3K to 7K I'm running 70's on my 10 m8 162. Motor is still tight but revs are a solid 8120 on a long pull at 5500 feet. I'm thinking it's really close to spot on.

should have a elevation chart on the left front shock tower area for cats specifcations. that gets you in the ball park pretty good. ski
