What can a Nytro 180 do at 10,000 elevation???

So if the arctic cat 1100 turbo is pumping out 177hp constant through all elevations im curious can a Nytro with a 180 kit run 180 at 10,000ft???

Also lets not just stop at the 180 how much can a Impulse put out at 10K...

The arctic cat turbo sounds like a pretty sweet sled but from what i've been reading to get them to put out 300 some odd horse, it would take 111 octane fuel and be running Meth injection. Cant a Nytro pump out close to 300 on 91 octane???

Just curious how it all works
 
I don't know about push or mpi but I know that MCX uses an automatic altitude compensator for rises in elevation. So if you are in the parking lot at 5k feet you will get 6 psi (just for example) but when you reach the top of the mountain at 10k feet you will get 10 psi of boost. Keeping the horsepower the same at any elevation. This makes clutching for different altitudes non-existant. Clutch it once for the amount of HP you make and your done! Everything else is controlled by the turbo system.
 
How bout the Impulse setups. Mcx would be cool and all but probably only be enough for me for about 2 trips. Going with the impulse standard kit unless someone talks me into the benefits of going with the race kit
 
If your riding at 10k and up, the 19T is the way to go and you can run at 17 psi all day and that's all your going to get (without cracking the motor - we've seen 22 psi but that's pushing the motor). At least for us - unloading at 10k and riding in the 11.8 to 12.6 range - the 19T really performs.
 
What whould be the advantages of a mcx over a impulse, really like the idea and fitting of a mid mount turbo. just looking to learn more

The 1100 cat will have a dinky turbo, and start making bad heat at 220 hp..... from the looks of the turbo

300hp out of a 65 cdi....... meth works but your asking for a lot,

Nytro will make more hp any where with a well set up 2860-2871 turbo and there 3cly motor............ to me it just seems like a better platform

if you have rode a turbo nytro i doubt you would like the power as much of the 1100 cat, its got more tractor like power not as snappy as the nytro.cool sled though should make yamaha take notice that the have to step up now or lose.
