What Bikes Seem to Have the Toughest Front Ends (Forks)

I have seen quite a few pictures of the carnage to front forks that are all bent up from what looks like a fairly minor bump, jump or impact.

I understand that reading the terrain becomes much more important on a snowbike than with a sled but, it looks like in many cases the damage could or should have been avoided if the front fork assemblies were built just a bit stronger.

Is there one model or brand of bike that seems to be more immune to front end damage than others?

I've worked on alot of forks, and I think the WP on the KTMs are the heaviest, thus the most material, and all other things being equal, should be the strongest fork lowers.

It's not that big of deal, you don't bend forks without a severe and abrupt stop/crash.

My vote is KTM's WP also. They are larger in diameters than any others i've seen. However if you hit something fast enough and solid enough (say a rock) you're going to bend them... no mater what!

I'm sorry but, what is a "WP"?

Is it a proprietary shock or forks used exclusively on KTMs?
