what belt to run?

i have a 080 belt on my sled now and i am wondering if i should stick with that belt or go with the 115 belt if i go with the 115 belt will i have to change anything with the clutches? is the width of the 115 the same as the 080?

thanks,
Jason

I'd stick with the 115 because on the 080 I kept pulling out the cords on the sides of them. The worst thing for a 900 crank is to blow a belt.

Yes you should have your clutch shimmed for the 115. I never did and it left a fine wear line low in the sheaves of my old clutch.

Shimmed or not the 115 will wear the clutch sheaves. It's the nature of the belt.
