What area to ride out west?

A freind and I are planing to go out west, and have been tossing aroud the pros and cons of Togwotee, Big horns and the Snowies. What other areas are we missing?
We are looking for a trip later in the year, spring riding in march or april. I have liked the Snowies but I would like something new and not having to trailer up the hill is a big plus. It also seems like we always have wind and limited visibility to deal with, maybee thats just bad timing not sure. We are coming from MN and the areas closer like the big horns and snowies would be a plus also but if one area is better and worth putting up with more driving we would. Also cheap lodging would be a plus.

What do you think?

don't ya have to keep your mountain sled first?:face-icon-small-win

Heard nothing but good things about Cooke from all my buds.

A 136x2 on the xc will have to do. We will have room in the trailer if you are interested in riding with a few guys that suck at mountain riding :D
Also my edge rmk was even more narrow in the front than a stock rmk with no sway bar, and a 156x2 track and the guy that bought it wants to trail ride it around here, I was going to tell him it was not a very good fit for him but he was giving me money so I sold himm the sled like he wanted, Whatever dude! He is gonna crap when he finds how tippy it is!

From my experience, Cooke is excellent at that time of year. The crowds are down and the snow is deep. Not dissing the other places, but cooke gets an amazing amount of snow and seems to hold for a very long time.

Check out bearlodgeresort.com. It's in the big horns. We've had great riding there in April. 12 hour drive for us and the rooms are cheap that time of year. Tog is good riding. I like West Yellowstone too. Don't need to trailer sleds at any of these locations. Plus all places have trees to play in on those days you can get socked in out in the open. West Yellowstone is probly my favorite but the big horns are a close second with the shorter drive.

That would mean I would have to finish mine...and why would I go and do that?
