What are the differences from summit everest and summit X

What are the differences between these two sleds? I see dealers are selling cheap just curious what differences are!
 
The X has an additional year of engine warranty. around $400 value. Shocks upgrade $300???value. Gauges $300-400??? value. If you can find an X for less than a thousand bucks more than a Everest, it may be a good deal. That is weighing in other factors of distance, etc.

When I bought mine a couple of weeks ago I was told the 2 year warranty was only if you spring ordered it. Otherwise just 1 year.

Anyone know different?

In CND anyways, the deal right now is....

$1750 off 163 and 154 Everests. $1700 off a 146.
Most dealers are throwing in another $500 or an in-store credit.
Freight and PDI extra. Some call it a destination charge and inflate frt and pdi just a touch.

Just over $10k for a new Everest.

Wyoming, didn't realize the X's had Titanium A-arms.....seen a few broken now.....looks like good old CM to me. Nothing close to the Ti arms on my Cat(not stock)

Aluminum bodies adjustable/rebuildable shocks. Sweet guage($500 upgrade to the good guage from the Everest) and Steel Braided brake line.

2nd year engine warranty is available if you take $400 or 500 off in the initial rebate. If you're leaving the motor stock, I recommend. Highly.

I'm thinking real hard about picking up our last 154 XP, 156 CE, Exit shocks all around and a Split Second 885. Have enough money left over to swap the jackshaft and add a few other notables. Either that or that long awaited Yamaha I keep talking about.
 
With all due respect I think the X a-arms are Cro-Mo not Titanium. The Cro-Mo arms are 4 lbs lighter than the regular steel non-X arms.

I know for the Renegade the X differences are Cro-Mo a-arms, rebuildable clicker shocks, braided steel brake line, gauges, low windshield, handlebar hooks, handguards, maybe different brake rotor/caliper and I think the seat may be different too.

I went with a regular non-X and aftermarket parts (ie: 440 shocks) to have something original and better performing than a factory X, but spent a pile of cash and in retrospect probably should have just got an X and had the factory shocks re-valved.

your right--was a long day yesterday and i thought titanium didnt sound right:confused:

I was told that the X was spring order only. (Picked up one last week) Therefore, it included the additional year of engine warranty. Our dealer said they elected to get a few extra x models and have resisted to match or come close to deals like those offered in Logan. Even at higher prices, they are still very competitive against other like 09models like dragons which has less warranty and snopros.
I know that several dealers in the area have lots of inventory in boxes regardless of brand.

I assume I go to any Ski-Doo dealer and have them run it and see what warranty is on it?
