What a weekend!

Diamond Lake wasn't quite epic this last weekend but it was pretty fabulous! We got into some nice powder up in the Garwood Butte area where we had a newbie (daughter of Queen Bee and FST) hit a tree following some of us off trail. Thankfully she wasn't hurt and damage wasn't too bad to the rental she was on. We rode out Friday night to the pizza parlor and had some of our favorite pizza for dinner.

Had a couple of stucks (me twice on Friday night~but since I pack the camera I got out before pics were taken) and Bungee's wife on Saturday then she caught some air on Bungee's new machine. All in all it was the best weekend of the year so far. Hopefully the snow just keeps on coming down now!

They were EVERYWHERE and loving the low snow that they could get around in!! That was on the back side of Summit Rock and somehow it really wasn't that tore up. We rode later where they couldn't get to.

I'm driving my truck and camper in there this weekend: Pretty lame place most of the time.

We are heading up there tomorrow for meeting, but will get an update on conditions and let you know. The snotel site said they got 2 inches one day this week, but it went away the next day. Snow level is at something like 6500 feet tonight. Boooooo!!
