You all remember the "Freakin Thieves Thread" were JMX571 said his truck was broke into.(since deleted) Even when some of us called him out he still came up with more lies and stories and told us it really happened.

he said while he was out riding his Klim gear, beacon, ABS bag and some other items were stolen from his truck. He stuck to that story to the bitter end.

It was around the Christmas time when we were all in the giving spirit, raising funds for Animals family. He took that opportunity to try and deceive the good hearted snowester that look out for each other in hopes that we would provide him with new gear..

He sent me a PM a couple weeks ago saying something about bothering me. I replied back to him, basically saying I don't like lier's. He had the opportunity to come clean then and still didn't.

Never saw anywhere where he came clean about it, until yesterday in the Colorado section.

It's very sad to hear news like this. I think Jacob and I had this nailed down from the get go. Very rare to have gear worth more than your sleds, and to leave all your gear in the truck is another story.
Only takes one bad seed to kill the trust factor on here. So many of us would do anything to help a fellow sledder, and now to hear this is very disheartening. Just hope somebody didn't get screwed by being in the helping mood.

It's very sad to hear news like this. I think Jacob and I had this nailed down from the get go. Very rare to have gear worth more than your sleds, and to leave all your gear in the truck is another story.

Seriously. Trust is huge on here as well as the real world. It many cases snowest is the real world and I have made great friends from this site, both in state and out. Every person I have meet face to face from this site has been a stand up person. A person that I really trust and need to trust while on the mountain.

Man that is SAD!! I would say that honestly 90% of my friends here in Utah(only been here 10 yrs) are from here on SW or from snowmobiling one way or another. His lies are quite easy to see through. We've always found humor in the untruths and have poked fun at them. But this one was over the top.

I remember the thread, and It didn't even occur to me that he was pulling a scam. I feel that if you wouldn't have spotted this, and called him out on it; He wouldn't feel any remorse, and he certainly wouldn't have come clean.

"SUCKERS" would be his view of the situation, had things gone differently.
