perhaps its just me... but admitting to doing illegal drugs just doesn't seem that smart.

In NM it carries similar consequences as a speeding ticket. Would you say the same about speeding ? For me it's about honesty and sincerity. Would you rather I was liar? I doubt it . I know and understand the reality of responsible use IMO there is nothing to hide . Mostly it's people who don't really understand who think that way.

Standing up against stupid laws should be done more frequently, and the fact that pot is illegal is as stupid as it gets. The reality is that because people are rebelling against these laws, it will soon be legal and we can stop wasting millions of dollars on enforcement of a failed policy.

@polzin I would say getting a speeding ticket is stupid, is speeding? No, just don't get caught. I see MJ the same way- do it if you will but why bother telling people about it? Is it lying if you just don't mention it or bring it up? Nopeeee

I'm not saying that I agree with the law. I'm just saying its not smart to go around being like "oh yeah I smoke blah blah blah". But since it is illegal I still wouldn't yell it from the rooftops that I do it.

I somewhat agree that pot should be legalized because quite frankly it doesn't impair your judgement as much as alcohol, and its way better for your body than cigarettes.

On the other hand, I have seen it destroy multiple people's lives, much more so than alcohol or anything else really. Despite what people say it IS addictive(not physically) and it does turn people into lazy chits who don't want to do anything else but smoke a J. Suddenly just going out and playing frizbee golf is a chance to smoke, going to a movie-gotta smoke before hand, how to go to sleep? smoke first, and how to wake up? with a smoke. It gets out of hand fast.

I think perhaps it should remain illegal if nothing else because it is just so much more rebellious to do it when there is a chance to get in trouble :face-icon-small-coo
