The second of two avalanche classes will be held this Saturday and Sunday, Jan 3 and 4 in West Yellowstone. With all the avalanche warnings going out and 11 fatalities in the U.S. alone this year (6 by Sledders) It would be a great time for those that have not taken a class yet to sign up for one. The first day will be held at the West Yellowstone Conference Hotel from Noon to 4 p.m. with a field session from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Included is a link with a bit more info on the class... http://mtavalanche.com/education/index.shtml
