Went Skydiving yesterday!!

Well i finally did it, Nick Campbell (S K Y J M P R) took me skydiving yesterday and it was AWESOME!!! I was a little nervous at first then we got on the plane, then I got a little more nervous, then we go to the door and HOLY SH*T I'm pretty sure my heart stopped and and I couldn't breathe! 45 second freefall and we hit 143 mph! So were coming down and the chute deploys and Nick says get your camera out (had it tucked in the sleeve of flight suit) and as I'm pulling it out the battery door pops open are there they go I got alot of pictures and my Mom and Dad did too, they came out to watch. That was bar none the COOLEST thing ever, I recommend it to anyone.

That is a blast. I did the same thing a few years back. Buddy was celebrating five years sober and he wanted to get some adrenaline into the blood. It worked. We actually went right back into the hanger and paid for a second jump. I can see how people could get seriously addicted. Thank God for sledding, it helps me save money on skydiving.

I am with PJ. I would have crapped myself when I got to the door. I am heading to Cedar Point Amusement Park in Ohio on Monday. I am going to man-up and try the Top Thrill Dragster. If I can make it through that one, I may be up to jumping out of an airplane. Rod

Thanks everyone it was so much fun I still get excited just thinking about it. I think I'm going to take to courses to become certified. It was WAY to much fun. You guys have to try it and Nick is super cool and patient with you.

Mike, Ralph, Tim, Shawn, Rod, you guys GOTTA do it!!!

better than pow

better than your best powder day. i did the accelerated free fall class were you pull your own chute but they are holding on to you in case you flame out.

i jumped out of a cessna, i swear. pilot was wearing a chute (always reassuring), there were dents in the wings, duck tape on the side and every two laps they put a quart of oil in the engine. (no joke)

the platform i stood on was the size of a magazine before i jumped, wind is whistleing by, you can't hear anyone and all three guys have to jump at the same time.

buckle up baby! one of the greatest rushes i have ever had. i need to post the video.
