Well Minnesota, we sure had a good winter! Part 2

Well, just another great winter here in Mn. We started with an awesome season, lots and lots of pow, cold temps. I thought hey, this is our year. Nope, was 43 degrees on sunday and sunny, still warm now. Actually rained a few times. Nothing but a good base left. Who else from the midwest is ready to move? -ZL

It's been the best start to winter in about 7-8 years... why move now when things are looking up!!?? ;-)

The temps look to get back to decent in the next week or two. If we get more snow to cover stuff up again I think we'll be fine. There is actually a pretty decent base out there, at least on our trail system. Sure, we burned through in many places, but it would be way better starting out with this than from bare ground.

I made that move last year cause I just had a feeling winters were becoming extint in MN....let me refrase that...snow is becoming extint.
The -20 you still get with no snow can eat chet....I LOVE MT.

You could move to central SD where we have absolutely no F$#$&ing snow!!!

Just be thankful you had any at all to ride on. Black Hills even suck... a guy has to drive for a day just to get to snow anymore.

x2, only 14hrs to West Yellowstone.:(

Not any better in ND

The winters suck just as bad here in North Dakota  The -20 days with -40 windchill and no snow all winter flat out sucks. Hoping to get out west after college is over with. Anywhere out west need a mechanical engineer in about 5 years?? lol

Wheels are already in motion to move out west for me. Tenatively I plan to finish college and move out there. That's where my industry is moving anyway.

Even when it snows here, I'd rather ride mountains. I'm pricing out long tracks for next season. Anything we get here will just be gravy.

I'm not sweating the warm up too much yet. The ground is still mostly covered here. One more shot of snow and we're back in business. Its when its brown in January that I get depressed.

Move to CO! We have almost 200" on the year and it's still snowing here.

I'm just kidding, don't move here!;)

that's how Vernal UT started out this year. Lots of snow in December, now nothing but -20 below weather.

I'll take 40 degrees and no snow before -20 and no snow any day of the week :)

Truck and trailer. It isnt WY snow but it isnt 18hrs and $700.00 away. 1-4"? I will take it. My 12 yr old thinks riding in 20" in december was a hoot.

Take what you can get here.

WTF? It snowed hard today here in the valley, I had 12" this morning at my house in north UT county.

don't worry, there will be snow to come.

It's a sure fire thing since my sled is tore down and probably not going back together until at least middle of Feburary.

I'll take on for the team this year, who will take the hit next year?

I'll take a snow storm like the end of last year and be happy 2.5 feet was nice. Thinking of moving also.......the serria's are sounding good also. Nice temps where you live and t-shirt and goto the mountains to go sledding.
