Can that 925 triple Rev. touch the High times King Cat this year, or will you be just short again. Hill Drags are comming. I can't get to Giants Ridge so I'll give you that one, but Spirit Mountain's a whole different story.
Midwest Mountain Riders area this year. Bring lawn chairs, coolers, barbecues, etc. The mountain sleds do well in the spring Hill Drags, so come join us. April 5th Giants Ridge MN. and April 12 Spirit Mountain, MN.

Owen:

I will be there for the Spirit Mountain drags............

I have my money on BJ's ride..........

Quick question on the hill drags. Can a guy just show up, pay the fee, and race. Or do you need to meet the orange requirements and all that jazz. Personally I would think a helmet, vest, and tether would be sufficent.

Blows:

THere is no qualifying for this event...........

Basically show up with a helmet and tether and you are ready to race

I might have to let the wife run my 780 at Brainerd then. Is there any class breakdowns or is it a run what you brung - winner take all sort of deal?

Jeff, I can give all of what he can handle. But I'll take money on it.

www.wsapro-ice.com I must ahve it wrong, I'll try to find it edit this post.

Yes, there are classes in three divisions;sport, smi-sport, and pro.

I think that's what he's going to do.

I heard the 925 's in swap. I invited him to the North Shore for Mon. boondocking. We probably would keep quiet about a head to head, as we'll have the real duel in a few weeks.

Too bad you have to have a tether, I would show up if I could simply bring what I ride right from the OEM.

How come I haven't seen any of your names on the Attention MN snowmobilers thread. If you don't get word out, this hill drag thing may be the only thing you are doing around northern MN.

In the three divisions;sport, smi-sport, and pro, where does the everyday rider fit?

Thinking we might need to do this next year.

Ouch!!!

Is anyone going to beat the drag specialists this year?

I'll be there on the 19th...

FYI- adding a tether cord is like changing a belt (simple)....and sounds like an excuse (lame one at that) NOT to race..

As for the old grey haired guy on a cat his son built...pack a lunch...I'm your Huckleberry...LOL-BJ

It is pro-ice.com

all engines cc's available...its a run what ya brung style.....3 classes sport, semi, pro...

Joe average can run sport or semi (if he's piped/ported etc)....no pay back but you get a trophy for top 3 in each class

semi is for the tuners/hot rod trail...pay back/trophy for wins

pro is "hope you bring enough" 'cuz eveyone in this class brings it ALL...NOS, turbos, big pistons, traction and dialed...bigger payback/trophy for wins

chest protector, shin pads, helmet and the near impossible to install "TETHER CORD"...all the std. safety BS...BJ

BTW- RJ...just dogging..;)

BJ check the date, I think it's the 12th of April.

You missed a good trip. Everyone loved it, even though I lost it and hit a tree. Broken foot, A-arms, etc., etc. I'll be ready for the Drags though, that's for sure. I've got you, next in my sights is Glenn Hall.

Owen:

RJ is mixing two things together. BJ will be at a sledding meeting on the 19th with RJ...........

Ruud Dog may have pics., Not me

A bit about Ruud Dog, Mike, He runs a thre or four year old Rev Summit 800. He's the one I know of that hasn't blown. He rode out some incredable track stands Mon. I could swear he pulled some of 150' or so. Not bad for a stocker.

Owen

Sorry, no pics of the damage........

Owen, we were too busy concerning ourselves with your well being to take pictures. You and your sled did not look good when we first got there. Zippy told us it REALLY looked bad from his view being the rider behind you. Hilly and I just saw the results, and it looked pretty ugly.

Of course, now that we know you are OK, and your sled lived to ride the rest of the day, it would have been nice to have taken a few pictures so we could have documented your lack of control handling that machine of yours, and we could have laughed and laughed!:D

The pictures you took of me doing track stands in that swamp turned out pretty good though. Two of the 5 are really nice.........
