Well... Alberta Boy is no longer from Alberta!!!

I took a promotion and am moving to Toronto, Ontario... about another 3000 km further away from the mountains...

What would you do to go riding in the mountains? This will take a 4 hour flight followed by a 5.5 hour drive to get to the riding spot. Each trip that I take will probably cost between $1500-2500!

Anyone else moved further away from the mountains? How did you survive????

Well... I am keeping my sled and will be stored at my buddy's place here in Edmonton... I like the idea of them meeting me in Revy tho! only 6 hours less of a drive! As long as they bring my sled and gear with them!

Part of the fun is the trip to the mountains! Trash talkin, BSn bout how sweet they think their sleds are... couple of beers etc!

I am trying to make it out for 2-3 trips this year! It was good riding with you too! Always nice to see a ghost ride from the top of a hill climb piling into the trees! WTF... your profile says that you are in Victoria now??? When did that happen???

i think you should store it down here, and then this way i could do you a favor and ride it at least once a month to keep the dust from getting to deep and the crank seals from drying out. lol good luck in bean town.

I live in Beaumont (accross from beau meadow school) If you need to get a mountain fix you look me up. We go at least 15 times a winter and I know Rene and have extra sleds...whatever!!!

Race- you wouldn't believe how many offers I have got to "store" my sled... I haven't looked forward to riding a sled more than this one! There are a few "extras" that might surprise the riding buddies here is a progress report on the "stealth" sled

If you are going to use an agent in Beaumont, there is only 1 that I would trust with my life and that is Rob Biddlecombe. I will PM you his number. Let him know that Braden told you about him. By far the best agent that I have worked with!

The market is soft compared to what it was 1 year ago but houses are still selling for WAY more than they were even 2-3 years ago. You could sell yours and buy mine... since I am moving, there is a deal to be had on this house! If you have a good product eg. nicely layed out, well maintained and the attention to detail is there, people will buy the house. If it is junky or beat up, you will sit on it for a while unless it is priced accordingly. Good luck!

Drive by it everyday... you are the guy with all of the toys! We walked by your place just after you took possession and you were cutting the grass and we were on the sidewalk and scared the sh!t out of you as you didn't see us behind you.

I was going to over you $10,000 for the boat but thought better of it! My house is the one with a 2001 Pathfinder in the driveway with a for sale sign on it.

That's the sled I sold you isn't it? Sure looks different! Couldn't hurt to return it to the previous owner, i'd store it for ya, my garage is sledless That would be crazy moving so far from the mountains, better make sure the few trips really count.
