What do you have to disconnect if anything on a 04rev 800 to weld the rear cap at the end of the tunnel.? The rear cap is the piece where the mudflap attaches to. I don't want to fry any of my electrical. Any help would be great. Thanks

I have the same problem and when I did mine and when I doo any welding on something with electrical componets I unplug everything I can. On my Rev I unplugged all the MPEM conections and the voltage regulator as well as the stator connections. This might be over doing it but it doesn't take that long and is better than replacing parts that didn't need to be. Make sure you give the material a good scrubing with a scotch bright pad and spray and wipe with some brake Kleen or aceytone before you weld.
