weld in bungs or clamps

I have a brand new set of Digatron egts, and I bought the clamp setup for the EGTS because I was going to use them on my ceramic twins. Instead I am running a turbo, would it be better to have the weld in ones, or will the clamps seal enough?

I don't know if digitron uses the same clamp on mounts as koso does. I assume they do.
I just removed the piece the prob mounts inside of the hose clamp that came with my koso egts and had it welded into the pipe. it has workd fine.

X2. Just remove the bung from the clamp and weld it on.

X3 on two different sleds. If you know someone good with a TIG they turn out great.

I work on all my own stuff, but dont have room for a full welding, machine, fab shop. So I use a guy only a mile or so away. He is a good guy and does good work.
I had him weld the bungs to my pipe. Looks perfect.

i just predrilled the holes and took it to a muffler shop, they can and are used to welding thin gauge metal, charged me 20$
easy enough
i htink the placemnt i the key from what ive been told
i took a file and laid it flat across the the y pipe then started to file back and forth to give me the top center of the pipe, then i measured 2 3/16" from the outside exhaust flange and drilled my holes, boondocker told me to place the sensors at this point for optimum readings.
hope this helps..
