Weight transfer on the turbos

I'm going to be stretching out a 151 RX-1 to somewhere in the 162ish range and was wondering what factory or aftermarket suspensions others have had good luck with in this sled. I'm thinking of going with a 162 Cat skid off of the newer M's but has anyone ran the Doo or Poo 163 skids? Just wondering what has worked well for straight up climbing/dragging with other Yami 1 liter turbos.

M10 or CR10 if you have the cash ,other wise timbersled keeps the front end down decently as well

I guess I'm wondering more about how the stock Apex MTN, M-series, or RMK skids handle in this sled? I've seen plenty with the M skids in them, just haven't heard reviews...

I had a 900 cat suspension under a turbo and I could not have made a worse choice!! It was a flip over backwards wheelie machine that could not climb and was an embarrasment.

Better off putting rail extention, and stiffer rear springs on your RX1 suspension. Suck up the limiter strap some in the front.

You will be so much better off.

throw in an apex skid and stiffer torsion springs. Cheapest and easiest route to go, best bang for the buck.

X2 but I used an M7 skid. Fun at 10 lbs but at 15 its retarded.

I have the extension on a stock rail with Holz susp. 162". Chain case rolled running 16psi.
Have not been on many but can tell you have never had a problem coming over. It will hold the skis foot off on a climb all the way to the top. Could not be happier.
Only thing missing would be a pair of Ice age rails...:beer;

skid

If it is a older 03/04 skid just use extensions. Very good skid for limited weight
transfer.Much better than the apex skid.I have a 800 dragon 163 skid with a 174 extreme track (skid set back)
limiters sucked up tight(changed them from stock to shorten them more)
still way more weight transfer than stock skid.
If I were to do it again I would have lightened up the stock skid
to keep the skis on the snow
