Thinking about sno checking one. Does anyone know what the weight and gas mileage (pls state if US or Cdn gallons) I could expect for a 2009 Rev XP Summit X 154. Doo website says the snow check versions "shed even more weight while adding race-bred features" Wow! ;-)

I forget the exact weights but they are nice and light. They are also great on fuel, My 08 Summit 800 xp uses 2/3 of the fuel than my 2003 800HO.

There was much on the weight early in the season so do a search.

I have been impressed with the gas mileage on this sled all year. I used roughly 8-10 gallons last year on my Mountain Max 700. This year I'm averaging 4-7 gallons depending on conditions. Oil on the other hand is a different story. It has finally slowed down a little; but for the first 500 miles it was using 1/3-1/2 gallon per ride and I'm not exaggerating.

My sled has far surpassed my expectations when it comes to fuel consumption. I always have used less then my friends 03 800. On one trip I had better mileage then an apex.

You have to adjust the oil cable after break in. Mine started at 15:1 now I am at 32:1 This doesn't sound great but when using so little fuel it means about 1/2 litre per day.

100 miles trips

I went on a ride two week ago.... Mind you it was 100 percent trail ride. We rode 90 miles, in about 4 inches of fresh, my light was going on and off when I got back to the truck... I used 8.6 gallons of fuel. So I would have to say 100 mile trips are definately possible. Then I have the gas can for reserve. Unless you are a flatland, fuel economy is amazing.
