I need some friends to ride with during the week. I am new to sleds, but getting use to my machine. I might be a little slower (and get stuck a few times), but I will try to go almost anywhere and have fun doing it. I am the type of person that will laugh if I get stuck and crack up if I fall off. I spend little time on the trails and love carving out turns in the pow
I am avy savy from many years of backcountry skiing. I actually know how to search and practice. I have been in backcountry emergency situations (neck and back for one example) where I took the lead on the evac. Actually got buried up to my shoulders by some jack-a's ski cutting a line above me once. Point here is I have been in emergency situations and I am calm. In fact, emergency situations slow down for me, my mind moves fast, and I get super calm. Also, I am a wildland firefighter so I am use to being calm in intense situations. Basically, if it goes down you would want me being there to save your butt and I would.
I am relatively new to Utah. I wintered in SLC last year and snowboarded a hundred days at the Bird with buddies. They don't have sleds, I am a bit board with boarding, and I live in Ogden now. I only have a one place trailer so I could meet you or if you have a multiple trailer I could jump in and give beer/gas money.
I am looking to ride mostly weekdays as weekends are for the girlfriend, but I am not totally opposed to weekends especially if we get a dump (insert snow dance)
PM me or email me at ryan.borgman75@gmail.com
Thanks and I look forward to meeting new people on the trails.....nope in the pow
Wow feels like I am writing a personals ad for a date.
