wedge to edge chassis

I have came across a bulkhead, tunnel, belly pan, and some other parts for and edge. Will I be able to put the tunnel on my wedge or use my wedge ( 95 storm in working condition) parts on the edge chassis

The suspension parts won't fit... the edge shock lengths are quite a bit different.

Motor mounting is different too... if you put the storm motor in it he edge you are going to need a mounting plate for it. 1200PSI can hook you up for that.

You are looking at a pretty big project though... getting everything mounted, pipes fit, air box to work... lots of effort there and its still a Storm motor.

this has turned out to big a bigger project than I intended. Ok so the situation is my brother rides currently the old wedge (heavy as ****) and he doesn't weigh enough to ride it well. So I was trying to come up with a good idea to suck off the weight and I have found a edge chassis for cheap dirt cheap. I originally intended to put it on the wedge but gave up on the idea. What would you guy suggest?

The saying "You can put lipstick on a pig but its still a pig" comes to mind.

The Edge chassis not lighter than the wedge. The 95 wedge bulkhead is pretty beefy for the Storm, but you won't see an appreciable change in putting it in the Edge chassis... and you'll have to have plenty of cooling and the likes.

For the money, I'd try and find him a 98 or 99 or 00 700RMK... it will out perform the old Storm and be lots easier to ride.

edge of the storm......

I would do it......The storm engine pulls hard bottom to top, and nothin' beats the sound of a triple. The triples have a much broader power band than the twins and a stronger top end.

The rider geometry is different between the wedge and the edge, that is why it is a good swap. The edge also is engineered to favor mountain riding more than the wedge. It would be cool. I'd do it if I had that combo laying around.....

You guys crack me up. "oh man...that would be too much work...."
