I have access to a condo right on keystone resort in keystone co.

Last year i went in the summer and did some dirt biking out of montazuma CO up the webster pass / red cone peak trails. It looked like an awesome place to go sledding.

Does anyone ride this area? Is it open to sleds? Anybody have winter pictures from the area?

Here are some pictures of the area from my summer trip

i know the area you are talking about. arapahoe basin resort just expanded back there and i haven't been sledding there for a couple of years.. the resort may have tried to limit or get the sleddin spot shutdown as there is a new ski lift in that area now. sweet area, gnarly 4 wheelin

We have snowmobiled in from the kenosha side. The closer to the pass you get the more it turns into avy chutes. A couple of times it was just picking a path thru the avalanche debris to get anywhere. Farther down the area is a lot of great riding.

yeah i've ridden hall valley to the bottom of red cone. there is a pretty decent bowl there. me retarded friend set off a avalanch there last year tring to break over. but as i said he was being a retard. we dont ride there to much. if the conditions are right you could bust over from that side and hitting webster from there would be a piece of cake. as a matter of fact after looking a little closer at your pictures my buddy set off the avalanch trying to come over where your picture of the road from webster pass comes up to the saddle of red cone.
