Once again we are going to get warm weather here in MN for our deer opener!! What really sucks is that they are forcasting record temps for some areas out west!!! We need winter to start!!!

I've gone out on my sled twice now with more to come starting Saturday in OR..:face-icon-small-sho

I agree! The only sad part is that if it did snow, my sled wouldn't be ready. Wait, I have a backup sled. Damn it, snow!!!!!!!

My new sled is the only one the dealer has not recieved, starting to wonder why I snow checked when i could go buy one and have it right now.

That's lame. Snow checks should arrive first IMO. What did you buy?

No chit -- still in the 70s here in Denver; haven't even turned my sprinkler system off yet...:face-icon-small-dis

there was a la nina around 1950 or so that we saw record highg in the beginning of november and by december into january we were having record lows and 63 inches of snow in SEATTLE.. thats unheard of!!
with that said, the weather we just had "record highs in seattle this week" has moved east per the normal jetstream.. and then a cooling is happening now here with snow and colder temps forcasted for the mountains..

dont fret snow lovers.. it will happen

Keep watching the forecasts here in Montana too, looks like the temps are suppose to start dropping and hopefully the snow will come to. We are suppose to have a La Nina year, so lets hope! Start your snow dances everybody!

Warm here in Northern Utah but snow is on its way, I hope.

I don't waste time reading "The Old Farmers Almanac" foolishness.

The answer lies in Muskrats my friends.

The bigger the muskrats build their huts.....the more snow we will get.

This method is foolproof.
Accurate 20% of half of all years!

Oh the size of the muskrats HUTS, for years I have been putting an N where the H goes. Thats good though, little buggers raise hell when you are trying to see what kind of winter we are supposed to get.

PS Dem nuts are pretty big this year, gonna be epic!

We've started riding last weekend.... here are some pic, I didn't go the first day, just the second day.... even got to try out the new pro!!

Cooke City is under a weather warning for the next couple of days, 10-18 inches. Yup, another round of woo-hoos to all!
