...more snow expected in the olympics and cascades this weekend...
.a pair of pacific frontal systems will pass through western
washington today and tonight bringing more snow to the olympics and
cascades. Snow levels will start out near 3000 feet this morning but
will lower down to around 1500 feet by tonight as an upper level
trough passes through the region. Moist westerly upslope flow will
keep snow showers going through early sunday morning.

sunday...
Snow will increase across the western slopes of the north and
central cascades today as a pair of pacific frontal systems
pass through the region. Total snowfall accumulations will range
from 8 to 16 inches through early sunday morning. Snow levels
will remain below highway pass levels.
Precautionary/preparedness actions...
A winter weather advisory for snow means that periods of snow
will cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow
covered roads and limited visibilities...and use caution while
driving.
