So i have an 01 mxzx 440 and it seems to be getting week spark on the clutch side. The reason i believe this is because it keeps fouling out plugs, and when it idles for a longer period say more than 30 sec it hesitates or runs kinda rough. Also my tack light has gone out and on and now back out? Nohigh beam or temp light indicators either Im at a loss with that one. Being it isnt oil injected makes the problem simpler. Also from not burning all the fuel oil is seeping out of the rave valves how do you clean those? I would replace the plug cap but it is all one, cable and cap. This sled is great but im at a loss as to what is causing this. Please help! Oh and it seemed to be better when i ran an a can of sea foam through it but now that im on just normal gas oil mix the problem has worsened again. Did the sea foam help keep the plug clean maybe? Any ideas would be great.

You can replace the wire and cap, I did it with some bulk nonresistor wire for an older Doo from the Doo dealer and added resistor caps. Doo puts the resistance in the wires with nonresistor caps (correct me if I am wrong anyone). This is what I did on my 02 summit for a while, but the caps were rubbing on the hood. I had a spare coil and wires and switched them out. You can buy a wire set with the little clip thing (on the '02 anyway) but they are kinda pricey, I think $50 or more. Good luck!
