WE revalve/ upgrade or Exit X0

What would be a better setup, HRP's revolve/ upgrade service for the stock RMK WE's or just replacing them with Exit X0's? The X1's and Raptors are just a little too pricey and I'm the type to adjust something the way i like it and leave it.

I have X1's all around and I love them. I never tried the revalve and felt that wouldn't be enough. The WE's just bottomed out too easily for me.

Go Exit. There is no way stock WE will compare with any amount of work on them. I just ordered X1's all around, well worth the money. I rode a set and sold my Raptors, I think that'll tell you something :face-icon-small-coo

Exit X1's

I debated on the Exit X1 and Exit X0, had same fellings you did, the x!'s just seemed pricey, but I went with them anyway, after almost a grand what's a little more to have the best. I'll have to say I didn't think it would be as great as everyone said, I'm a glass is half empty kind of guy. But oh my Lord, the ride is amazing, I have a couple hundred miles on them now and you can flat fly through the whoops and feel almost nothing. I had shoulder surgery this last July and was not supposed to ride this winter, part of reason for spending the coin on the X1's, but they are amazing. I did not think I would fiddle with them either, but it is nice to dial a few clicks softer for the whoops, then firm it up once in the riding area for sidehilling etc... I would definatetely recommend the X1's, although I'm sure the X0's are a huge improvement over stock as well. I know one thing for sure, I will never own another sled that does not have Exits on it again. It will be the first mod I do above all others!!! Hope this helps, good luck on your choice, you won't go wrong unless you leave it stock.

Do the raptors. Best shocks out there, period. Spend the extra, it's worth it

My back to back testing says otherwise :face-icon-small-sho
I had my raptors DIALED after a lot of testing and rode X1's that were not even set for me, but a rider close to my weight and guess what I own now...I consider myself a fairly aggressive rider too.

Either way, get some with adjustment, it does make a difference.

I had Exit X1's last year on my 2012 Pro, and went with Raptors this year and couldn't be happier. The Raptor shocks are definitely better than the Exits IMO. They have way more adjustabliity and are much easier to dial in.

never fails, ask a question whether A or B is better and everyone tells you C and D. I am leaning towards Exit X1's for the rears and X0's in the fronts and center. Sled solutions has the front X0's for $765.

IMO the adjustability with clickers is worth it, but that is a good deal on X0's.

As for the "who is better" argument, rider preference in the end...and what you can get a better price on. I'll stand by Exits for the best all around, but thats me.

Bottom line is, anything is better than stock lol

I have the Carls revalved WE's with all fox parts installed and am very very happy. I cant compare to the others listed here but I can tell you my sled rides very good and does not bottom.
Call Carls performance, Chris will help you out and if you go that route you will not be dissapointed!

This thread always turns into what shock is best (or who will justify their expensive purchase!). I already said I like the Exit's but I think that you can get great shocks from Raptor (haven't had them) or Fox (rode the EvolR's for a couple years). Anytime now the Fox guys should be showing up. All three are a huge improvement over stock. By the way, Exit X2's are as adjustable as any Raptor or Fox shock. You have to compare apples to apples.

I went with Exit in the rear of my Pro. And up front I did the Holz revalve and Z Broz dual rate spring. I was going to go with Exit in the front. But figured Mark and Jack don't run junk and they are both die hard Fox guys But if they have an upgrade for the WE they might not be total junk after all. Rode it with all the shocks today and it was night and day from last year what I could hit and not bottom out.

I am wondering the same thing. Rode my new 13 for the first time today and was bottoming out pretty regularly with the rear. Fronts were adequate, but after the first bit I was much more focusing on the rear. Hoping that firming up the rear won't take away too much deep snow performance with stock shocks.

Debating between tripple rate springs with a revalve, or going all new front and rear with selling the stockers to help offset cost.

EVERYONE IS MISSING THE BOAT

Take it up one more level. ELKA STAGE 5 SHOCKS are the way to go. Ive owned WE, Fox, Zbroz X1 shocks..... all are great but mounted Stage 5 Coilovers on the front and Stage 5 Coilovers on the back center and rear track shocks onto my 12' Pro Rmk 163. Give them a try you wont regret it
