WE Pressure Reading

I took the WE shocks off my 2010 Dragon to my dealer for a check the other day. They said one was good at 225lbs of Nitrogen, but that the other had 0lbs. I didn't notice any severe sagging, and it didn't ride bad either (I just got back from a three day ride the day before). Is this possible? Or did they mess up reading the pressure somehow?

It is possible, which shock was at 0? I would guess that most people would not notice a bad front track shock?

The springs hold up your sled, shocks only control the motion.

It is darn near imposible to just take a pressure reading from a shock without charging it at the same time! If it was at 0 psi, you would know for sure though.

Have them both re-charged and see if you loose one, then you will have to get that one rebuilt.

Dub is correct... You cant simply "check" the pressure.

Also... at zero... it would be apparent... the sled would be laying on the floor!

Walker Evans Racing (the mfg) will do the recharge for free to better standards.... only costs you shipping.

If you send your WE Air shocks into Walker Evans Racing Service department...They will re-charge them for FREE!!

Yes... Free...

I talked to John there.

The only cost is the price to ship them back to you... and not some high price on shipping either as some people seem to do these days.

The rear track shock can benefit from 210lbs of Nitrogen compared to 200 lbs. (behind the IFP)
...

It was the front right shock. Standard WE Racing shocks off a 2010 D8. They purged and re-charged both to 225. They put the "leaky" one in the wet tank and didn't see any bubbles, so they asked me to watch it. Still under warranty, so no big deal.

However, I am watching the back a little now too. I have very little rebound, with the stock springs on position 3. I can push the sled to the floor and it will only come back up a few inches. It looks saggy, much like my old XP always did. Is this normal for a Dragon? If not, what should I look at?
