We need an over 18 forum.

So with all the BS going on about the girly pics (which haven't been all that bad) I think we should have an over 18 forum where EVERYBODY knows that there might be scantily clad women ad things of that nature and ONLY those that want to can get in after verification of age. It could very easily be password protected and we would just have to request the password from the mods. I'm not saying that we should allow full on nudity but there is NOTHING wrong with bikinis and lingere.

Maybe the whole site should be 18+ and then we could have a "Kid's Area". I'm guessing most on here are 18+ anyways. I imagine the biggest obstacle to an "18+" area would be overcoming the moral value sysem adopted by the owner/operators of SW and imposed on the members of the forum. I think most on here are okay with girls in bikinis. Maybe I'm incorrect. It would be interesting to do one of those polls you see on here. I don't know how.

You don't have to go into the over 18 section if that causes a problem at work its kinda your own fault for going into certain threads. And I'm not talking porno either just tasteful bikinis and what not nothing trashy and nothing nude.

I agree except people dont always agree where the line should be drawn..so it just kinda decends further and further....I thought the shakira thread was ok until I got to the 3rd pic of her bending over and thats where it went over the tasteful line.

I would not mind a 18 over section. But remeber family site so up hill battle.

One problem with an 18 and over area is that it is virtually impossible to assure 100% that someone who claims to be of age actually is. Short of verifying your birth date, and cross-referencing your driver's license number and social security number, there is no way to KNOW that you are the age you claim to be. If I didn't voluntarily post my age in my profile, is there any way that you would know how old I was?

Secondly, as Mule said, if you want to look for at that stuff, there are PLENTY of other sites to do it on, this is supposed to be a family friendly, 'snowmobile' site, having multiple areas that are specifically devoted to things other than snowmobiling is already above and beyond the main intention of the site. If your looking at something that your not comfortable having your 5 or 10 year old kid looking at, is it really a smart choice to have it on a public site?

There's a level of hypocracy in the moderation of this site that is laughable. People that used to post hundreds of inapproppriate posts, if not highly suggestive at the very least have now become "born again" because of the prestige or the power of being a moderator? Obviosly not all are but it sure seems funny to me when I see names in red that I remember doing the same things that are being censored now. I've been on here long enough to remember and so have many others. You know who you are.
Fine, lets clean up SW from the girlies pics to the racism. Let's make sure we clean it all up evenhandedly and lets make sure those cleaning it up are worthy of the cause and doing for the right reasons and not their own gains.It's a dirty job, isn't it guys?
